Dan is a Bancroft boy. Born and raised. This means two things. One, he has more guns than he has ties and two, he can survive in the wilderness with only a ballpoint pen and fishing line.  And that's why we love him.  Dan married my sister Rachel in 2003, and immediately became more than a brother-in-law.  He amazes me with his carpentry skills, his deep love for Rachel and his passion for God things.  He likes to try new things, regardless of how difficult they might be or prior experience.  More often than not he succeeds.  This explains their horses, dog breeding, cattle rearing and farming.  He is a master handyman, and singlehandedly renovated my parents kitchen.
